Theaters will begin showing the movie “Kong: Skull Island” on Friday, March 10, 2017. Playing the lead role character of James Conrad, a former British Special Air Service (SAS) member and a tracker; Tom Hiddleston granted an on-set interview on Wednesday, February 1, 2017.
Even his most recent tweet: “Who, or what, am I tracking?”, never gave anyone a hint of the movie until this interview he granted. The British Actor told JoBlo, a movie news site, “Conrad’s”, the character he played, “sort of a 70’s hero”.
Tom Hiddleston was involved in the development of the movie story. He joined the Movie Director of “The Kings of Summer”, Jordan Vogt-Roberts, and their talk led to the development of the soon-to-be-released action-packed movie.
Hiddleston said he is a big fan of adventure cinema. He wants Kong: Skull Island, which was filmed on a real Island, to rank among the best adventure stories.
One of the things he said he loved about the movie was, that this King Kong movie set in a 1970’s South Pacific Island, has a leading female character.
